LakewoodAlive, City of Lakewood to Celebrate Completion of Warren Road Beautification Project on June 21

June 15, 2018

LakewoodAlive and the City of Lakewood will host a Dedication Ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Warren Road Beautification Project on Thursday, June 21, at 1:30 p.m. at the southwest corner of Warren Road and Detroit Avenue in Downtown Lakewood.  Thanks to a $50,000 Community Development Supplemental Grant from Cuyahoga County, this main artery into Lakewood’s downtown district now incorporates a new public art mural, a complementary bus shelter wrap, bike lanes, planter boxes and other beautification features.

This exclusive opportunity will afford media members and special guests a first look at the finished product, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m.  The Warren Road Beautification Project represents a collaborative partnership between LakewoodAlive, the City of Lakewood, Cuyahoga County, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority, local artist Derek Brennan, NEO Realty Group, Keep Lakewood Beautiful, Lakewood Garden Center, Scherba Industries and many outstanding volunteers.
