PUBLIC WORKS DIVISION MANAGER/REFUSE AND RECYCLING
The City of Lakewood is seeking a Public Works Division Manager for the Division of Refuse and Recycling. The position manages the operations and staff associated with the Division of Refuse and Recycling. This includes organizing, overseeing, directing and managing all operations of the Division. Must be able to communicate with all levels in the organization and possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills. PART-TIME POLICE OFFICERS

SALARY: Range $21.00 to $28.63 per hour commensurate with experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or possess a GED. Qualified applicants must be currently certified through the State of Ohio as a Peace Officer. To be eligible for appointment, applicants must meet all qualifications and successfully complete all phases of the pre-employment process (Certificate of Completion of Physical Agility Exam from the Cuyahoga County Community College Public Safety Training Institute; polygraph; background and oral interview). Following a conditional offer of employment, applicants shall be required to successfully complete a comprehensive medical and psychological examination, including drug screen).
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: US Citizen; at least 21 years of age; must sign agreement that you will not smoke during employment with the City and must sign a code of ethics; must possess a valid Ohio Driver License with a good driving record (six or more points may be disqualifying). Appointees to the position of Part-Time Police Officer are also subject to all applicable provisions of law, the Charter and Ordinance of the City of Lakewood and all Departmental Rules and Regulations. Part-Time Police Officers will be expected to provide service to the citizens of Lakewood through the use of motorized, bicycle and foot patrol. Workdays, hours and work assignments will be directed by the Police Chief or designee.
SCHOOL GUARD
The City of Lakewood is seeking applicants for the part-time (approximately 2 hours per day) position of School Guard.
