EMERGENCY MEETING OF LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL

Lakewood City Council will meet Thursday May 7, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.

Under the orders of the Governor and Director of Health of Ohio, and pursuant to Ordinance 06-2020, adopted March 16, 2020, Lakewood City Council will meet remotely until further notice. The May 7, 2020  Emergency Meeting may be accessed  by the public via the following information:

In light of the fact that the usual public comment period will be unavailable, the public is invited to participate in the remote online meeting. Please observe the following courtesies: wait to be addressed by the Council President, mute your microphone until you are asked to speak, and disable your camera.

All existing rules of decorum will be maintained as laid out in Section 121.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood.

  1. RESOLUTION 2020-30 – A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the Mayor to submit the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 One-Year Action Plan of the FY 2020-2024 Five Year Consolidated Plan which includes dollar allocations and activities to be funded with federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) resources, and any other entitlement funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and all amendments thereto and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and incorporates the City’s application to HUD for FY 2020 CDBG, ESG, and HOME funds and superseding Resolution No. 2019-13, adopted December 16, 2019.
