The Housing, Planning, & Development Committee will meet Monday March 1, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

Under advisement of the Governor and Director of Health of Ohio, and pursuant to Ordinance 06-2020, adopted March 16, 2020, the Committee will meet remotely until further notice. Approval of the minutes of the February 8, 2021 Housing, Planning & Development Committee meeting.

ORDINANCE 08-2021 – AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 103.02 Definitions and Chapter 1153 Fences of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to clarify fence installation requirements within the  City of Lakewood. (1st read and referred to HPD 2/16/21)

ORDINANCE 10-2021 – AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and directing the Director of Planning and Development or the Mayor to enter into an agreement with a licensed real estate broker to market for sale the real property located at 1461 St. Charles Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio (PPN 314-04-031)  and 1458 Belle Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio (PPN 314-04-045) for a period of 180 days, pursuant to Section 155.07 of the Codified Ordinances. ORDINANCE 12-2021 – AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect at the earliest period allowed by law, to expand rental rights within the City of Lakewood allowing renters who tender their full rent plus any additional late fees and court costs, prior to an eviction hearing to avoid eviction for late payment of rent and setting reasonable late fees that a landlord may charge a tenant.
