Applicants Nicolas and Christina LaPointe are homeowners proposing the demolition and rebuild of the existing side and front porches. The minimum required combined setback total is 15 feet in the R1H District. The proposal reduces the combined side yard setback total by 4 ft. The property is in the R1H, Single Family High Density Residential District.

Variance Request: Required minimum total of combined side yards is 15 feet. Proposal places side porchat 8 feet from side property line. Request a variance to reduce minimum combined side yard setback total by 4 feet. Pursuant to section 1127.07 – minimum yard requirements for principal buildings (Ord. 91-95 Passed 10-17-1996)

Applicant Patti Saracusa of Dover Remodeling proposes construction of a 12 ft. x 20.5 ft addition to the east side of the existing garage which is attached to the primary structure. The proposal reduces the primary structure setback on the east to 3 feet from the east property line. The property is in the R,1M Single Family Medium Density Residential District.

Variance Request:  Request to reduce the yard to the east of the primary structure to 3 ft. by constructing a 12 ft. x  20.5 ft. addition to the existing garage which is attached to the primary structure. Pursuant to section 1127.07 (Ord. 91-95 Passed 10-17-1996)

Applicant Mark Common of M. Common Design, proposes the construction of a 15 ft. x 11 ft. pergola with an open roof. The placement of the pergola will reduce the side and rear yard setbacks to less than 3 feet. The property is in the R1L, Single Family Low Density Residential District.

Variance Request The minimum required side and rear yard setbacks for accessory structures constructed of wood is 3 feet in the R1L district. The proposal reduces the side and rear yard setbacks to less than 3 feet. Pursuant to section 1121.10(a)(1) – additional accessory structure regulations (Ord. 32-16. Passed 9-6-2016)
