Lakewood
Municipal Court Judge Patrick Carroll was appointed to the court in January
1990 and subsequently elected for a full term.
Carroll
hears civil cases up to $15,000 and small claims cases up to $3,000. He
also hears traffic and criminal cases, and enforces eviction and housing
violations. Carroll received his juris doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall
College of Law and his bachelor's degree from Cleveland State University.
The
Judge is a member of Lakewood Kiwanis and Lakewood Chamber of Commerce.
He is a member of the Ohio, Cleveland and Cuyahoga Bar associations, and
the Association of Municipal and County Judges of Ohio. He is a life member
of the Judicial Conference of the Eighth Judicial District and past president
of the Northern Ohio Municipal Judges Association
