CERT Training To Be Held Beginning February 20th
February 14, 2019The WestShore Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), which includes Lakewood, is holding a Basic Training in 2019, on Wednesday evenings beginning on Wednesday, February 20th for eight consecutive weeks with final drill scheduled on a Saturday, April 13th. The Westshore CERT serves the communities of Bay Village, Fairview Park, Lakewood, North Olmsted, Rocky River and Westlake. This volunteer-based organization supports its cities’ safety forces and first responders to help prevent, prepare for, mitigate, and respond to emergencies and disasters.
The classes will be held at the Westlake Service Center from 6:30pm – 8:30pm with the Final Drill scheduled for Saturday, April 13th from 9am – 1pm. The WestShore CERT is on Facebook at WestshoreCERT, on twitter @westshore_CERT, and visit www.westshorecert.org.
