American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Force Pedals Through Lakewood on June 28June 22, 2015
Motorists in Lakewood will share the road with hundreds of cyclists on Sunday, June 28, as the American Diabetes Association’s Tour De Force pedals its way through West Side suburbs.
The 100-mile bike trip starts in Downtown Cleveland; Lakewood is at the 5-mile mark of the fundraiser. Approximately 200 cyclists are set to enter Lakewood on Lake Avenue at W.117th between 6:10 and 7 a.m.
They will take Lake to Webb Avenue, where they will turn south, then take Clifton Boulevard out of the city headed west. Some cyclists may choose to return the same route, upon arriving at the 50-mile marker in Huron.
No streets in Lakewood streets will be closed, and event organizers have been advised that cyclists are required to share the road and abide by all traffic rules.
