Summer Sprinkling Program
The City of Lakewood Division of Utility Billing offers a residential Summer Sprinkling Program for homeowners from July through September of each year.  Residential homes of one, two, three, and four-family units in good standing qualify for the program, provided they are owner-occupied and have been for the last four months (encompassing the billing period of January to April).  If you choose to participate in the program, the Division of Utility Billing will calculate your average sewer cost based on your usage from January through April.  During the months of July, August, and September, sewer usage above the average will be attributed to your lawn watering and will result in an adjustment to your bill.  The program will not affect or replace the City’s current sewer-exempt or sprinkler meter programs.  If you have signed up for this program during previous years, you do not need to reapply—we will automatically re-enroll you in the program.  To apply for this program, call (216) 529-6820 or visit our office at 12805 Detroit Ave.  All applications must be received by April 30, 2016.  Click here for the application form.
