More on bed bugs
- Bed bugs only feed on the blood of humans — feeding mostly at night when their victims are sleeping.
- Adult bed bugs are reddish-brown, oval-shaped, and flattened. The adults are about a quarter-inch long — about the size of an apple seed.
- Some bed bug “hotspots” include mattresses, box springs, headboard, pictures (and other wall-mounted decorations), wall-mounted lamps, and upholstered furniture.
