The management of storm water on construction sites and adjacent streets is important to the City of Lakewood. Each construction site must adhere to all existing City Ordinances and requirements of the EPA. This may require projects to prepare and enforce a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). All construction sites that require a SWPPP will be inspected monthly, beginning in June 2007, by the City or its representative. Construction site inspections may occur at any time and will not be scheduled.
