STREET AND FACILITY CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

All street improvements are funded by Capital Improvement Funds and/or Community Development Block Grant Funds (CDBG) for qualifying streets.

All Watermain Replacements are funded by the Water Fund. All Sewer Repairs are funded by the Sewer Fund.

Property Owners will not be assessed.

Long Term Control Plan Scope: City-wide sewer system planning project Schedule: Continuing negotiations with the EPA
Nicholson Avenue Watermain

Scope: The work to be accomplished under this contract includes installation of 350 ft. of new 8” ductile iron watermain pipe on Nicholson Ave. from Hazelwood to Merl Avenue. Eighty Five feet of the installation will be in a 16” steel casing pipe bored and jacked under railroad tracks owned by Norfolk and Southern.
