Listening To Lakewood (L2L) is a program in which Mayor FitzGerald and members of his Administration walk different neighborhoods in the City monthly talking with residents to find out what questions and concerns they have about the City. At the end of the walking tour, a neighborhood meeting is held which includes a question and answer session and a Power Point presentation addressing the challenges our city faces and what City Hall is doing to overcome them. The Mayor kicked off the L2L program on June 19, 2008.
The next neighborhood the Mayor is walking is the Clifton Park area and Webb Road to Maple Cliff Drive between Clifton Boulevard and Edgewater Drive (see map below). The neighborhood meeting will be held at Harding Middle School, 16601 Madison Avenue on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:00 p.m.
"I want to hear what residents have to say about the City and I want to address their concerns,” stated Mayor FitzGerald. “Listening to Lakewood is an opportunity for me to go into a neighborhood and hear what residents are talking about. I will also have the opportunity to update them on the opportunities and challenges facing the city.”
