2018 Leaf Collection UpdateDecember 12, 2018
The official City of Lakewood citywide leaf collection effort ends Friday, December 14th, 2018.
Over 85% of all Lakewood streets have had three complete street collections from November 12th through December 14th, 2018. The remaining streets, i.e. short streets, dead ends and the narrowest streets have had at least two street collections.
As of Tuesday, December 11th, we have made four complete street collection passes on the following high leaf volume streets and neighborhoods: Clifton Blvd., Lake Avenue, the Clifton Park neighborhood.
During the week of December 17th through December 21st, we will have our two single operator leaf-vac machines traveling throughout the city collecting any random leaf piles that may still be out there – weather permitting.
If you have set out your loose leaf material for collection late and/or have yet to rake your leaves to the tree lawn, please contact the City of Lakewood Streets Division at 216-529-6810 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your property address. During the week of December 17th through December 21st, we will make an effort to collect those leaves set out late.
Any loose leaf material set out after Friday, December 21st, 2018 will not be collected. Those leaves will need to be placed in yard waste bags for Refuse to collect on your regular garbage collection day.
